Urban Connect and Voi Announce Strategic Partnership

Zurich, 13.06.2024: Swiss platform provider Urban Connect and Swedish e-scooter provider Voi will be working together in future. The coral-coloured e-scooters can now be booked via Urban Connect’s mobility budget. Customers receive a 10 per cent discount on every booking.

About Urban Connect and Voi

Urban Connect is revolutionizing the way companies approach employee mobility by offering a fully integrated ecosystem of shared mobility options. Over 50 companies such as Roche, Google and Swiss already rely on the shared e-car, e-bike and e-scooter fleets, which are supplemented with public transport access, digital parking solutions and a mobility budget. This enables companies to save costs, space and emissions without restricting employee mobility.

Voi is one of the leading micro-mobility providers in Switzerland and Europe. The Swedish company operates sharing systems in over 100 cities in 12 countries and has more than 8 million users worldwide who have already made over 250 million journeys.

Comments on the partnership

Judith Häberli, co-founder of Urban Connect: “We are delighted to make the mobility budget even more attractive for our customers through our partnership with Voi. Together with innovative and courageous mobility providers such as Voi, we are creating an offer that leads to a rethink with positive incentives and encourages employees to opt for more sustainable mobility options.”

Katharina Schlittler, Head of Voi Switzerland: “Voi wants to help make Swiss transport greener, fairer and safer. Operational mobility management plays a crucial role in reducing transport emissions and has tended to be neglected in the industry to date. With this partnership, we are systematically opening up our service to corporate mobility. Urban Connect is the leading multimodal B2B platform and Voi is the most successful e-trotti provider in Switzerland. Combining our services was therefore practically a no-brainer.”
